Level out every mountain and valley and the earth would be nothing but ocean - 3km deep. Dry land only exists today because the ocean is even deeper than this. Imagine what would happen if something changed this delicate balance... 

Centuries before the Ark, man had mastered Bronze and Iron. The Bible records that Tubal-Cain developed tools in these metals.

This was the first age of metals, a world literally 'wiped from the face of the earth'. (Gen 6:7). More than a flood, it was a catastrophe on a planetary scale. Water burst from underground, and the world was transformed forever...
